Health & Beauty: Soap & Glory 'No Clogs Allowed' Review

Hi everyone,
So I thought I'd do my first product review after recently trying the most amazing mask/scrub. So to start with I'll give a little bit of background about my facial skin type. It would be classed as oily/combination due to the fact that I have an oily T-zone and my cheeks etc are normal. However when I say oily I mean really really oily. If I wash my face and put nothing on, 2 hours later I'll be super oily again.
Anyways over the years I've tried many different products and some work quite well at getting rid of the shine for a short amount of time. For some reason lately my skin had been oilier than usual, and in a moment of desperation I went to Boots to try and find something new. I had never used Soap & Glory products before this, as I wasn't very familiar with the brand but after reading up on it I found that the company is the brainchild of Marcia Kilgore who is the founder of the famous Bliss Spa in New York. The spa caters to A-list celebs like Madonna, Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz and Oprah. She decided to bring her knowledge and expertise to the British public and that's how Soap & Glory was formed.

Okay back to the main topic. I had a browse through their seriously massive collection of skincare products and ended up getting the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Scrub and Face Mask. I kinda liked that it was a scrub and mask in one, and it promised to detoxify your pores by providing a very deep clean. At £11 it's a little bit on the pricey end for a drugstore product, however the tube contains 100 ml of product, which when used sparingly should go a long way.
Wow. I have to say I'm totally in love with this product. First off, to use it you just need about a grape size amount of the product. Wet your face and hands slightly before squeezing it out, and immediately rub it onto your face all over. You will feel an amazingly nice heating sensation as you rub it into your pores. I focused most of my attention on my T-Zone as that is my problem area and after rubbing for about a minute I just left it on my face to dry. I left it on for about 10-15 minutes until it had completely dried and then washed it off with some warm water. It actually comes with a mini sponge which you can use to wipe the product off your face but I just used my hands. Immediately I could feel my skin's texture was really smooth and my pore's had really shrunk. My skin just felt tighter and smoother and amazing!

It recommends that you use it about once or twice a week but I've used it 3 times in the last 5 days already and I've really noticed a difference in my skin. I would definitely recommend anyone with oily skin to give this product a try.

  1. Omg, you TOTALL have to try FC5 - it's awesome! It's super natural and made of fruits and veggies, but they're ... I don't know how to describe it. It's called "fresh cell technology' where they freeze the plant cell and bottle it, so wehn you put it on your face and axctivate it you get the direct benefits of the plant and it's vitamins and all that jazz! I don't have super oily skin so I don't use it, but my friend has similar skin to you- tzone, oily, etc. She used it for a few days and bought every product in the line! You need about... gosh... like... a tiny tiny squeeze b/c it's all super concentrated, and it also comes with a matte powder that you can put on throughout the day that has light defusers in it to create a "photoshop finish" that she uses to keep the oil away during work hours. Crazy stuff! I wonder how you can get some... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm......You can order it online, I think they ship to Eng! xoxo that packaging is awesome! It reminds me of Benefit. Also ever been to Bliss in NYC? so cool!!
