Fashion Trend: Midi Dresses

Even though we're in the middle of another major blast of winter here in London at the moment, the thought of the upcoming Spring is keeping me going. I'm in the middle of planning for my next holiday, which is just one month away! And my destination? The city of sin...Las Vegas. So needless to say I've been about the shops lately, trying to plan outfits and looking forward to getting some sun.

Here is a trend I am totally hooked on at the moment. Last summer it was all about the maxi dress. This year its all about the midi. From the high street retailers to the high end designers, there is a dress to suit every style and occasion and I just can't get enough of it.
Miranda Kerr was spotted wearing this chic Victoria Beckham creation.

Nicole Scherzinger was spotted in London a few weeks ago, rocking this ASOS number while out for dinner. And you can rock the same look at such an affordable price!

Here are a few of my personal picks:

This super affordable midi dress by New Look hits all the right style notes with its monochrome stripes.

Another affordable one following the monochrome trend is this stylish piece by Topshop:

I am totally loving this elegant mauve dress by Warehouse.

And lastly, this Alexander McQueen black fitted midi dress features a heart neckline and a fitted bodice for a dash of sex appeal. Love.
