For me summertime is a time for lazy park picnics, weekend barbecues, long days lounging at the beach (if you're so lucky to live near one) and all that fun stuff. However some of the best fun I have is at summer weddings or garden parties. In London we really value our sunshine so any sunny day is an event to be cherished and any event that is blessed with sunshine is sure to be a hit. However the downside to that is the heat which can melt your carefully applied makeup, leave unflattering wet stains on your clothes, among other unladylike faux pas.
