Isn't that the truth? Normally my days as a stay at home mom are quite full on with not many breaks in between. I reheat my morning cup of tea at least twice but that's okay, that's how its meant to be right? I sneak in showers during Aydin's nap times or whenever my husband gets home. Not a huge problem. But sometime's things get a lot more tricky. If you guys have been following my snaps you'll know I'm visiting my family in Ottawa for two weeks for Eid. It feels so good to be here, extremely nostalgic sleeping in my old room and driving around my home town. But being a mother now, it has its own challenges. Jetlag and babies are really not a good mix. Aydin has been getting up early since he's on London time and of course we have to start our day then too. The new surroundings have also messed up his eating, which is hard to begin with since he's a bit of a fussy eater. So yea I am struggling a bit these days and have my hands full, but at least I have a lot more hands helping me out!
So I thought sharing this look was quite apt. I got the cute tunic top from Sheinside and it really speaks to me and I'm sure to all of you fellow moms. Being a mother has a million and one rewarding moments, but some days its just plain hard and that's okay.
