Designer Spotlight: The Silk Closet

Hi guys,

It's me again. I know my blog keeps going into deep hibernation and then I try to revive it every few months. This time will be different, I promise! For some reason I've got a spring in my step again. Maybe because its actually Spring in London now and I'm just feeling more inspired! Truth be told I really struggle to get anything done during the day besides running after Aydin. He's coming up to 14 months now and wow he has so much energy (Mashallah!). And when he goes to bed around 8, I just about manage to cook something and then put my feet up for a few hours and spend some time with the hubby.

If you guys are reading this then you've also probably noticed my blog's new look! I just wanted to streamline it and give it a much cleaner look. I've tagged all my older posts and separated them into different categories, which you can access from the top of the page using the Categories drop-down. What do you think? I would love to hear some feedback from you all!

Anyways today I am sharing a very exciting collaboration with a fast growing online South Asian boutique called The Silk Closet. Based in the UK, they carry many up and coming designers from India. It's a great platform for emerging designers to sell their products online and makes it so much easier for us fashion forward ladies to find some original and beautifully crafted pieces.

I styled this lovely asymmetric floral top by contemporary Indian designer Ritika Bharwani whose designs are stocked at The Silk Closet.

Hope you all like the look, let me know what you think! You guys should definitely check out their online boutique - I've been eyeing so many things! If you have any upcoming summer events they will definitely something you will like!

xoxo
